Welcome! Mabuhay!

...travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living. ~ St. Augustine

Traveling to places near and far is both exciting and enlightening. Travel may be close by, within a region, or globally. Visiting a bordering city or island in where you live could give you a fresh new perspective in life. Though, we don’t really need to go so far out to enjoy ourselves and find beauty, because it is all around us… if you open your eyes, stop and smell the roses... you will get that sense of freedom. However if you are a world traveler, it opens up for a much wider point of view. How I wish someday, I will get to do that. Visiting another country and seeing how other people live and discovering their culture provides us with new understanding that we are all different and unique in our own ways, though we are all human… living and breathing on the same amazing planet, Earth…

Enjoy, travel and live life to the fullest!

Summertime in Orlando, FL

Summertime in Orlando, Florida

My family bought a timeshare in Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa, thinking that it will be a place for us to visit in the US when we permanently move to the Philippines. As you guys already know by now, after four months of living over there we actually ended-up moving back here.
Anyway, the three-bedroom lock-up condo is lovely and fully-equipped with beautiful lake views from the balcony! So many amenities like mini golf course, boating & kayaking in the lake, several swimming pools, restaurant on site and they are building a huge waterpark. We have had good luck renting our units on ebay year after year, so we only end-up using it one time, when we still lived in Cocoa Beach which was only about 45-minute drive. My family spent a whole week having fun in Orlando and visiting Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingom & MGM. Great location... just minutes away from SeaWorld, International Drive, Downtown and Disney. Lots and lots of fun, everybody had a blast!!!

just the three of us... boating!
one of the guys in the marina told us that the gorgeous homes across the lake are owned by celebs like Tiger Woods... we were checking them out from the water side :))
